Bound

Poem · EN · Exposed
They march in chains, golden wings bound, marked with names, numbered, tagged. Some still remember the open blue and reach for it, a risky leap. Then drop again in a grey sigh, a clanky thud: far from the sky. Smaller and smaller, stripped of their song, dragging their memories they carry on.
